His IPL story is also interesting as he joined KKR as a replacement for injured Kamlesh Nagarkoti in the IPL 2018. Then, he made his IPL debut also because of an injured player named Shivam Mavi.

He played for the same team in the next three seasons, however, in the IPL 2022 mega auction, Krishna was acquired by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) for ₹10 crore. He delivered a commendable performance that season, taking 19 wickets in 17 matches.

However, the subsequent seasons presented challenges. Due to injuries, Krishna was unable to participate in both the IPL 2023 and IPL 2024 tournaments, sidelining him from competitive cricket during this period.

Making a strong comeback, the IPL 2025 mega auction saw Krishna being secured by the Gujarat Titans (GT) for ₹9.5 crore

  1. I am a senior Prasidh, his former neighbour. I was in class 10 while his sister Prakruthi was born. His family consisting of his parents and his grandmother had moved in as tenants to the house ‘Ashirvad’ behind mine in Ashok Nagar, Banashankari 1st stage Bangalore 50 while he was an infant. His first birthday was also celebrated in the same house.
That was in late 90s when internet was not popular. Until I came to know about his first birthday, I thought I was the only Prasidh in Bangalore. They relocated from that house ‘Ashirvad’ sometime in 1999 I guess.

It was a real surprise when I saw his name and face in an IPL tournament. I had my doubts whether it was really that infant Prasidh I had known in late 1990s. I saw his biography on another site which showed that he did his schooling at Carmel School. This school is in Banashankari suburb too. It gave me a pointer that he could be the same Prasidh. The details on this webpage show the fine details such as the name of his sister thereby confirming that he is the same baby Prasidh that I had known in late 1990s.

I am delighted to see him represent India and show his magic with the ball. He is al married now. Time just flies!

I chose the path of science whereas he chose the path of sports.

I wish him.all success in his life and career and will continue to be his fan.

All the best kid ! (Being around 15 years older than you dear Prasidh, I take this liberty to call you kid ).
