The Irish actress has maintained a relatively private personal life. However, reports indicate that she has been involved in notable relationships within the entertainment industry.
Initially, Oliver was in a long-term relationship with fellow Irish actor Éanna Hardwicke. Both alumni of The Lir Academy at Trinity College Dublin, Hardwicke is best known for his portrayal of Rob in the television adaptation of Sally Rooney’s “Normal People.”

Later, Alison Oliver bagged her first role in the form of Frances for a TV series titled “Conversations with Friends”. The show features Taylor Swift‘s boyfriend Joe Alwyn, Jemima Kirke, and Sasha Lane.
In 2022, she also appeared in a short film named Brother. The year 2023 marked a period of diversification in Oliver’s career. She took on the role of Katie in the BBC One drama miniseries “Best Interests,” portraying the elder daughter of characters played by Sharon Horgan and Michael Sheen.
