Cricket Career of Parag:

On July 6, 2024, he made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut against Zimbabwe, becoming the first male cricketer from Assam to represent India at this level.

Subsequently, on August 7, 2024, Parag earned his One Day International (ODI) cap during the third match of the series against Sri Lanka. In this debut, he showcased his bowling prowess by claiming three wickets for 54 runs in nine overs.

• Parag holds a record of the fastest half-century in the Youth Test.
• Later, in the under-19 Challenger Trophy, he scored 207 runs in just 4 innings.

• At the age of 16, Parag got selected for the under-19 world cup and played a crucial role in the final victory.
• Later, when he was 17 years old, Rajasthan Royals signed him for the IPL 2019. He remained with the same team for the next season.
• After that, RR bought him at the auction for 3.80 crore for IPL 2022, and he has been playing for RR since then.
• This valuation remained steady for the subsequent seasons until 2025, when his retention price surged to ₹14 crore, underscoring his growing importance to the team.
